Zegras, like the entire team here, is focused on learning and rounding out his skill set. He may not be getting his points offensively but he’s making passes and creating chances as well as being a defensive stud (compared to last year).

Oct 26, 2022 · Zegras has some good things going for him fantasy-wise: 1. He’s a true C but plays on a team which has a lot of off-nights so he’s easy to squeeze onto a roster, 2. He’s established on the PP with 67%, 3. He’s averaging 18min TOI, and 4. He’s getting around 74% offensive zone deployment. That said, he’s young so he’ll be inconsistent.

Depending on league settings, "most off nights per season" isn't always a good reason to hold someone the whole year. My 12 team league doesn't have a max acquisitions per season, so i personally would stream zegras on a weekly basis where anaheim is playing those off nights, and only hold if he starts performing.

Aug 24, 2022 · Zegras is on the cover because of his highlight reel goals last year, his goal with Milano was shown on any and every sports network and was viral on TikTok, insta, YouTube etc… EA is trying to put a marketable face on the game and I’d argue Zegras got more coverage than any other nhl player last year on non traditional NHL markets
