Given the shocking, flashbacky finish to the Apple TV+ adaptation’s Season 2 finale — and in the wake of season-long viewer complaints about the post-apocalyptic drama being too dark in scenes — showrunner Graham Yost affirmed for TVLine that Season 3 will be easier on the eyes.

When it comes to any TV show, some episodes are stronger than others. Silo season 2 certainly had a strong season, but how do the episodes hold up against each other? This was a season set in two locations.

Season 1 ended with a revelation; season 2 ended with multiple. Now that Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Nichols has been forced to contend with the erupting flames of Silo 18’s air lock, what’s in store for her people underground?

Or so it seems now, before the next “everything you thought you knew was wrong” twist comes along at the end of a season to upend things. But what was the purpose of the Silos, really? Were the built to save some remnant of the human race until such time as the surface world could be reinhabited?
