Famous Indian film actor Saif Ali Khan, who received multiple wounds during an alleged robbery attempt at his home in Mumbai's affluent Bandra area, has been shifted out of an intensive care unit after his condition improved.

The police said Mr. Khan was recovering in the hospital after an intruder attacked him. He sustained a major injury to his spinal cord, a doctor said.

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was out of danger, police said on Thursday, following stab injuries received in a scuffle with an intruder at his home in India’s financial capital of Mumbai for which he was undergoing surgery.
