A four-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, Jan. 18 closed down part of Interstate 10 for hours and injured multiple people. Police said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. along Interstate 10 West at the Downtown exit.
Erian Sandoval, 26, was shot at and then crashed his vehicle into the freeway median and died on the scene, police said. It's unclear if he was shot.
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed at Queen Creek Road due to a crash, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
