President Donald Trump began his second administration with a blitz of policy actions to reorient U.S. government priorities.

Trump signed his first wave of executive orders around 7 p.m. Monday, after his swearing-in ceremony a parade, and before the inaugural balls.

Trump, who said he would not be a dictator “except for Day 1” of his presidency, signed a record number of executive orders on Monday.

On his first full day in office Tuesday, President Donald Trump continued sweeping actions, including ordering the shuttering of all executive branch diversity, equity, and inclusion offices and ordering all employees working in such offices to be placed on leave.

Donald Trump is promising a “golden age of America” in his second term, and he’s issuing a raft of executive orders to try and make it happen. The president signed a slew of orders and directives that aim to end birthright citizenship and crack down on illegal crossings at the southern border,
