The Canucks have reportedly been trying to trade J.T. Miller for some time now as tensions continue to rise in the team's locker room.

The Vancouver Canucks came close to dealing J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers earlier today per a new report.

One report unveiled that the Canucks have gotten a trade offer for JT Miller. The Rangers offered Mika Zibanejad, an $8.5 million center having a rough season, for Miller. He started his career with the Rangers, so he may waive to go there. But the Canucks declined the deal so they will hope for a better offer soon.

Head coach Rick Tocchet shed light on the situation, attributing Miller’s decreased minutes to a strategic shift toward spreading ice time more evenly among forward lines, per Canucks Army's Jeff Paterson.
