The Chicago Cubs trading for Houston Astros star right fielder Kyle Tucker provided a shot of adrenaline to a Cubs team– and its fandom– that hasn’t seen postseason play since the abbreviated 2020 season.

When Sosa was asked specifically about apologizing for PEDs, he said, “No.” He said he was apologizing to the fans.

The back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday were the first outdoor college hockey games ever played at Wrigley Field, and despite biting cold for both games, fans came prepared for the first-ever Frozen Confines series.

Sosa and the Chicago Cubs are back together after the slugger returned to the team’s annual fan convention on Friday. The Cubs also announced that Sosa will be inducted into the franchise’s Hall of Fame this year,

With the win, Michigan State snapped Wisconsin’s perfect outdoor record, handing the Badgers their first loss in four outdoor games. The Spartans improve to 2-3-1 outdoors, famously having tied their rival Michigan Wolverines in the 2001 “Cold War” game at Spartan Stadium that kicked off the outdoor ice hockey phenomenon.

While the temperatures were low Saturday, it was definitely heating up under the lights as many people came out, braving the cold for the first-ever college hockey game at Wrigley Field.

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team (9-12-1) fell to the Michigan State Spartans (17-2-1) in overtime on Saturday night at the Frozen Confines. The Badgers were one of four men's hockey teams that traveled to Chicago for a chance to play in the Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series.

A federal district judge in Chicago on Tuesday advanced a lawsuit brought by the Chicago Cubs against Wrigley View Rooftop, a company that provides 200 guests with a view of neighborhing Wrigley Field in exchange for fees.
