Microsoft's LinkedIn has been sued by Premium customers who said the business-focused social media platform disclosed their private messages to third parties without permission to train generative artificial intelligence models.

Microsoft's AI for Good Lab is offering a total of $5 million in cloud computing credits in its home state of Washington through a new grant program in conjunction with the company's 50th anniversary.

Applications for the program are open through Feb. 17 and the winners of the grants will be announced in March.
