Mason McTavish and Alex Killorn each scored two goals and John Gibson made 31 saves as the host Anaheim Ducks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.

Mason McTavish, who will turn 22 on Thursday, has had plenty of growing pains since being the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, but it appears he's starting to come into his own. McTavish has five goals over his past three games entering Tuesday night's contest in Seattle against the Kraken.

Ducks starting goaltender John Gibson left after the first period with an upper-body injury and was replaced by Lukas Dostal. Ryan O'Reilly scored the game-tying goal in the second period, burying a rebound behind Dostal to tie the game 2-2 at the 5:07 mark.
