Yeehaw, or no thanks? We asked readers to rate this year's Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo concert lineup, and reactions were mixed. After all the anticipation and guesses of who would be on the list,

HOUSTON, Texas – A full lineup of performers for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has been announced. With an entertainment schedule spanning throughout the month of March, the lineup features artists from various genres, with nine entertainers performing for the first time on the rodeo stage, according to a news release.

Here is what you should know about purchasing concert tickets: Wave 1: Tickets for March 4 – March 13 performances will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 16. The online waiting room will open at 9:30 a.m. Wave 2: Tickets for March 14 – March 23 performances will go on sale at 2 p.m. on Jan. 16. The online waiting room will open at 1:30 p.m.

But many have expressed disappointment, particularly with the longtime absence of women and the lack of diversity, musical or otherwise. This year's lineup includes just three nonwhite performers: Bun B, Carin León and Grupo Frontera. Blues and country singer Charley Crockett, whose great-grandmother was part Black, has said he identifies as white.

The rodeo, initially founded as the Houston Fat Stock and Livestock Exposition, was intended to revitalize the cattle industry in Texas.
