Up in the forests of northeastern India and Bhutan, you’ll find a rare monkey—the golden langur. With its bright golden fur and calm, shy nature, it’s one of the most unique monkeys out there.

Golden langurs are arboreal primates found in the forests of western Assam and southern Bhutan. They have a golden to cream coat, are herbivorous, and live in social troops.
