The Diplomat” is getting a big vote of confidence at Netflix, with the streamer renewing the political drama for Season 4 before Season 3 has premiered. The announcement was made by Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria on stage at the Netflix upfronts in New York City on Wednesday.
CBS has set “Big Brother 27” to premiere on July 10 — but first, let’s break down what’s changing for the series’ “biggest season ever” since it premiered back in the summer of 2000.
The Cannes Film Festival is now in full swing, opening its slate with three highly anticipated world premieres: Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, starring Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, and Angela Bassett; Mascha Schilinski’s thriller Sound of Falling; and Sergei Loznitsa’s drama, Two Prosecutors.

Following premiere week, Season 27 episodes will air Thursdays from 8-9 p.m. and Sundays from 8-9 p.m., with special 90-minute Wednesday episodes airing 8-9:30 p.m. Beginning July 25, “Big Brother: Unlocked” will air 8-9 p.m. every other Friday until Sept. 26. The returning players have yet to be announced.
Originally meant to debut May 7, “Sullivan’s Crossing” will now return for its third season on Wednesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
