Heavy rain and thunderstorms are causing low visibility and flooding in North Texas. A flood watch is in effect, with 1 to 3 inches of rain expected overnight.

Widespread 2-3" rain amounts will be likely, with isolated higher amounts possible. This could result in some flooding and high water on area roads. The storms will move out quickly though, leaving dry weather and a return of sunshine by midday Thursday.
Flood watch issued for North Texas until Thursday midday, according to the NWS
A flood watch was issued by the NWS Fort Worth TX on Wednesday at 12:02 p.m. valid from 6 p.m. until Thursday noon. The watch is for Grayson, Fannin, Lamar, Denton, Collin, Hunt, Delta, Tarrant, Dallas and Rockwall counties.
