Colorado is getting ready to drop into a dangerous multi-day deep freeze! A surge from the Polar Vortex will be pushing below zero temperatures across the region with several burst of snow beginning Friday night.

Thursday will have mainly sunny skies and above-average highs before arctic air moves in for the weekend with snow on Saturday in the Denver weather forecast.

An arctic front will sweep through Colorado Friday afternoon with dangerously cold air and accumulating snow lagging behind it.

Skies will remain clear for Denver’s weather overnight awaiting a very mild day tomorrow. Look for an arctic blast to come in from the north starting this weekend.
