Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel had multiple rounds of radiation therapy for breast cancer as she admits it 'hurts to be awake.'

Danielle Fishel has completed her breast cancer treatment. The “Boy Meets World” alum, 43, revealed she’s “officially” done with treatment, but she’s now dealing with the painful side effects of the 20 rounds of radiation.

“Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel gave fans a major update this week on her battle against breast cancer. “I just wanted to give everyone an update because I’ve kept you guys all abreast,” the 43-year-old actress said on the Jan. 13 edition of ‘Pod Meets World,’ according to PEOPLE Magazine. “I am officially done with radiation.

Danielle Fishel is sharing an update about her health, saying she has completed “active cancer treatment” following her announcement in August that she was diagnosed with DCIS, which stands for ductal carcinoma in situ and is a form of breast cancer.

Singer Linda Nolan, part of the famed Irish family group The Nolans, died on Jan. 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Nolan, according to a report from the BBC, originally received a diagnosis of breast cancer in 2005, followed by a secondary breast cancer in 2017, which metastasized, or spread from its original site, to her brain by 2023.
